Twin Crix is hosting a monthly event on the Last Sunday of every month, starting in April. A Family Friendly Farm Meal and music in the barn, hopefully funded by a grant from River Valley Arts (we should hear back this week!).
Farm Help, 3pm: Blueberry Census and TLC
The blueberries are budding out! Let’s get them off on the right foot. We will do the first hand-weeding of the blueberry rows and take stock of the coming fruit crop. Bring gloves.
Sauna, 4-7pm
Kindled Community Sauna is setting up on the farm for the Afterparty - but all the seats are sold out! We’re adding another day of sauna on Sunday. See the Kindled website to book your seat!
Music in the Barn, 6-10pm
Come see what the fuss is all about!
6-8pm: Participatory Music Making Experience
Bring an instrument, or pick one from the bounty in the barn, and summon up the courage to play two notes, and repeat them, and help form the groove. Or just observe!
8:30pm: Featured Performance - David Pedersen
This month’s featured performance is by barn regular David Pedersen - the world premier of his musical monologue “There From Here”, which he will be performing at San Diego Fringe Fest in a couple weeks. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of playing along with or listening to David, you know that he can make any sound under the sun (except, apparently, an elephant), as well as play a wide variety of instruments (the tasteful flute is a personal favorite). If you only know David from soups and baked goods at Soups I Did It Again, you will be astonished and delighted by what is to come. Don’t miss it!
Potluck and BYOB (though we might be finishing off the kegs from the Afterparty). The wood-fired oven will still be going from the night before if you want to throw something in there.
